Steve's first tutoring students were peers in high school.  He earned two degrees from MIT in engineering and business.  He worked over 20 years in sales and marketing roles at technology and health industry companies.  Midcareer while his own children were school age, Steve obtained certification as a math teacher.  He taught nine years in grades six through 12 in public, independent, charter and vocational school settings.

His tutoring students range from primary school through college.  He specializes in helping young people with unique learning styles and interests.  With so much real-world experience, Steve can always find engaging answers to the question, "Why do I need to learn this?"
